It’s that time of year again. Graduations, valedictorian and salutatorian speeches, graduation parties, and college summer preparations. With all of this comes some inevitable cliques being spoken. There is one however, that never seems to die. This clique seems to have been around since before I even graduated from kindergarten. The saying that so many have latched onto and for many years have led far too many to pursue majors, careers, and lives that frustrated them more than fulfilled them. What is that phrase? What kind of statement could send multitudes down the path of frustration instead of fulfillment?

“Follow your dreams…and never let anyone tell you that you cannot do something.” Now before you jump to the defense here is a video that explains why this statement and so many others, have caused more frustration than fulfillment.

As always, be with the Lord’s people on the Lord’s day!
