Well, we have all done it. We have “Eased out of Summer and Back into school” or work. As we are back in the routine, that means this coming Sunday, September 10th is really a kick off Sunday for many churches and the ministries therein. With that in mind we all, but especially ministry leaders, should want people to get the most out of our ministry. But how? What can we do to really help people grow in their relationship with Christ and not just their knowledge of Christ?
One of the ways I am convinced genuine transformation takes place is in small groups. If you have ever been a part of a great small group you never forget it. Unfortunately, if you have ever been part of a horrible small group, that too is unforgettable. So how can we, leaders or participants, make the most of our small groups. Tim Chester gives some great advice on how to “Follow up the Sermon in Small Groups“. Enjoy the practical ideas and questions to enhance your small group, pass them along to your small group leader, or implement them yourself by asking others when you see them next.
As always, be with the Lord’s people on the Lord’s Day!
