“I’m better than my sister at throwing things”. This is a statement my oldest son makes quite often. The subject can range from eating to running, all the way to sleep. My eldest two are at the stage where everything is a competition. They are constantly trying to better each other at something. While this can be annoying at times, the reality is I am the exact same way.
I think it is something about leaders, they always want to be better. They are not content with status quo or “good enough”. Leaders constantly pursue “better”, “healthier”, and more “excellent”. Enjoy the article, and know that there are others who are trying to become better leaders with you each day. As always be with the Lord’s people on the Lord’s day!
