Ding Dong! A twist of the door handle, creeeeeek, and in comes a loud and passionate,”Trick or Treat”. It’s that time of year again. Hundreds of thousands of children (and adults) will dress up in costume, roam neighborhoods, and innocently (or not so innocently) ask for a trick or a treat.

Batman’s, Captain America’s, goblins, ghosts, princesses, zombies, and so many more will roam the streets of so many neighborhoods this coming weekend. It will be a great time to interact with friends and neighbors whom we may not see or interact with all that often. And in the midst of what many would consider a “dark holiday”, there is potential for much good and “light work” to be done. This video offers a great challenge and reminder on the reality and opportunity of darkness and light this holiday.

Enjoy and as always be with the Lord’s people on the Lord’s day!
