Good Friday. That title has always seemed a bit ironic to me. The day that our Lord and Savior died described as good. But as a follower of Jesus Christ I also must recognize the truth that Joseph spoke in Genesis 50:20 ,”As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good…” is ultimately seen and fulfilled and understood only at the cross of Jesus Christ. The cross represents the great horrific evils that mankind’s sin causes and punishment it deserves while yet upholding the glorious goodness of a God who sacrifices His own Son as a substitute.
Enjoy and reflect on this video as we look forward to the fulfillment of Good Friday…Resurrection Sunday.
As always be with the Lord’s people on the Lord’s Day. Go celebrate!
