Have you heard this one before: “Technology is melting our kids brains”? Or another one of my favorites: “Don’t give my kids sugar it makes them hyper”. These and statements like them are indicators of what we believe when it comes to our kids and distractions.

Now, I am not trying to say technology and diets play no part in the distracted reality of our current culture. What I am saying is: I think we need to question the root causes and needs of which distraction is a symptom.

There are at least 3 “vitamins” our kids and culture are missing.

In it, he gives his top 7 tips to raise kids that know how to focus and are distraction-free. Numbers 4-6 have helped me personally be less distracted and more focused.
